SkodaAuto India Ltd on Thursday said it would make India an export hub for the company in South Asian region.

SkodaIndia, a fully-owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Group's SkodaAuto of Czech Republic, today revealed the company's plan to launch Skoda Fabia, its first small car in the Indian market.
SkodaAuto, which was the first VW group firm to enter the domestic market about a decade ago, also intends to become more affordable in the long-term, enabling it to enter more segments.
Its track record has been patchy, but the carmaker wants to launch at least one model every year.
Luxury segment auto player, Skoda India, on Monday said that it will increase prices of all models by Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 from August 1. The company sells models like Fabia, Octavia, Laura and Superb in the price bracket of Rs 4.5 lakh (Rs 450,000 to Rs 22 lakh (Rs 2.2 million).
